I have wanted these for ages.
Today, November 25th
I left exactly 3 months ago. Maybe I’m a couple of hours early.
3 months was the marking point I gave myself. Kind of a ‘Make it to this point and you’ll be fine’ point. I don’t really know what to think about that now.
Yeah, my language has gotten better- but it’s not great.
I’m not homesick- but I still miss home.
I feel like I’ve accomplished so little in such a large spanse of time. Maybe I just haven’t realized it yet, if I have. I’m not unhappy. I’m content. I can make this awesome for myself, even if there are things that make it really hard to do so.
I’m glad I have 7 months left here, because I need to do so much more to make sure that leaving home for a year was totally and completely worth it. I’m a bit excited to see what comes.
3 months down. Seven to go. Who knows what will happen.
